I should be working out right now but I wanted to note a few things.
We watched the Redwings in the Stanley Cup finals last night, and because that makes it Hockey Night, I went to Patron for dinner, because pizza + hockey night is like the best combo evar.
My favorite pizza still is, and will probably always be, pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapeno. It's sweet, salty, and spicy. Although I can't eat a ton of it because of the IBS and because it's just generally so, so bad for you. But yum, awesome!tasty.
So I was driving home with my pizza and Jay's (vegetarian...blehh lol) in the passenger's seat and I ate a few slices of mine on the drive home. Which I think is a glaring signal to me that I need to balance out my meals more. My lunch gets eaten pretty steadily throughout the morning and on into lunchtime, and then there's about four to five hours of nothing where I'm working, working, and on the drive home I am about ready to gnaw my arm off. (Gross, btw.) This means, I think, that my diet needs modification so as to prevent me from eating things I shouldn't. And yes, I'm sure Patron falls on that list.
Now we have leftovers for days, and sigh, the Redwings are playing Friday night for a Game Seven. This frustrates me after the 5-0 shutout of Game Five, but in a poetic justice-type of way I think it's better for them. Bring the Stanley home and win on home ice, in a sold-out crowd of Redwings die-hards. It will be a beautiful game unless the Pinguinos manage to pull off some sort of soul-selling miracle. Then, I think, it could get very, very ugly in Hockeytown.
That's all I can think of. Just a little update on two of my most favorites, hockey and pizza. Awesome.
