Since tomorrow is a holiday and we all have today off, we got paid yesterday. I get paid through direct deposit. Yesterday morning, I checked my account balance, and there it was, so I paid bills online, wrote my rent check, etc.
This morning I log in and my balance is really low so I check the transactions thinking, "hmm, they sure deposited the rent check fast..." and lo and behold, the direct deposit transaction is GONE. Nada. It's like it never happened.
I'm major panicking because everyone at the corporate office is on vacay today and I'm like...what if our rent check bounces? HOLY CRAP. One view of my account online says I have a couple hundred bucks, while the other says FOUR DOLLARS.
I am so, so sick of my bank right now. STUPID BANK. This happens after I call them earlier in the week pissed because they upped maintenance fees on our joint account, which overdrafted it because we use the joint account for stuff like groceries, and because I hadn't gotten PAID I hadn't put more cash in.
I hate them. HATE THEM I SAY! A part of me is hoping this is a huge company-wide screwup so I can be like OH MAH GAW WHO CAN I YELL AT but part of me hopes it's the bank so I can go up there and knock me some skulls. Like, make some poor little dude cry. And having worked in retail I hated THOSE PEOPLE but this is really stressin me out.
Seriously. Between now and the next pay period we are moving our money to someplace that doesn't suck.
I hate money ;_; I wish we all operated on Federation credits ;_;
ALSO OH HEY good thing I didn't spend my BONUS MONEY last night seeing as how I may have to use it to PAY RENT STUPID PEOPLE ARARARARAR.
